Historical, store-wide feedback.
Elva Rook knows how to make a trade fair work. She can find the missing detail in a conversation, get the right samples in front of a buyer and make a small company look ready for something larger. Then her first major customer offers six months of exclusive work. The money is real enough to imagine. The appointment is not yet hers. And the clients who booked her first still expect her to arrive. Across a difficult exhibition week and its less glamorous aftermath, Elva must discover what she is willing to promise, whom the promise uses and what remains when a better proposal loses the job. An original adult novel about ambition, commercial pressure and a company that refuses to become a simple success story.
- A founder whose skill and ambition create opportunities as well as damage.
- Competing customers, a paid team and real consequences on an invented exhibition floor.
- An unsentimental company story with humor, practical action and relationships that keep their own lives.
