Refund policy
For purchases made under this policy, our voluntary 30-day satisfaction offer provides store credit if an ebook is not right for you. This change does not remove monetary refunds required by law or replace the terms of an earlier purchase.
Our 30-day store-credit satisfaction offer
If you change your mind or are not satisfied with an ebook, contact us within 30 days of purchase. Once we confirm the paid purchase and that the item has not already been refunded or credited, we will issue store credit equal to the amount paid for the affected ebook. This voluntary offer provides store credit for future purchases at www.ebookbasket.com, not a cash refund.
Downloading the ebook does not remove eligibility for this offer. A reason is welcome but optional. A request received within the 30-day period remains timely while we review it. Help, credit and refunds are never conditional on posting a positive review, changing a rating or removing criticism.
Earlier purchases keep their original terms
The terms presented when you purchased continue to apply to that purchase. If your order was covered by our earlier 30-day money-back offer, we will honor that offer and its original refund route. We will not replace an eligible monetary refund with store credit without your agreement.
Later policy changes apply to later purchases. They do not remove an earlier promise or any rights or remedies you have under applicable consumer law. Contact us with the order number if you need help identifying the terms that apply.
Using your store credit
Credit issued under the voluntary satisfaction offer can be used toward future ebook purchases at www.ebookbasket.com. We issue it without an expiry date. It is not a cash payment and cannot be exchanged for cash except where applicable law requires otherwise.
We will confirm the amount and explain how to access and use the credit when it is issued. Use the customer account associated with your purchase and sign in at checkout to apply available store credit. Contact us if you cannot access the credit or need help using it.
Missing, incorrect or unreadable files
If a download has not arrived, the wrong ebook was supplied or a file is corrupt or will not open, contact us with the order number, title and a description of what happens. We can help locate the download or provide the correct working file.
If we cannot provide the correct working file, you may choose a replacement or a monetary refund for the affected item. We will not require you to accept store credit instead of a monetary refund owed under applicable law or these delivery terms. The 30-day change-of-mind window does not limit this support or your statutory remedies.
Accidental duplicate purchases or charges
If you accidentally paid for the same ebook more than once, contact us and identify the relevant order or orders. Once we confirm the accidental duplicate payment, we will refund the duplicate item or charge. This is separate from the voluntary change-of-mind store-credit offer.
How to request help
Use the Contact form at www.ebookbasket.com. Include the order number, the email address used for the purchase and the ebook title. For a technical problem, include any error message and the step where the problem occurs.
Do not send passwords, full payment-card details or identity documents. If further information is needed to identify the purchase, we will explain what is required.
Receiving a monetary refund when one applies
Approved monetary refunds under an earlier purchase promise, these delivery terms or applicable law are issued to the original payment method. If the payment provider cannot support that route, we will contact you to arrange an appropriate alternative rather than automatically substituting store credit.
After a monetary refund is issued, the time it takes to appear depends on the payment provider. We do not promise a bank-processing timeline. Contact us with the order number if you need help tracing an issued refund.
Use after a returned purchase
When an ebook purchase is fully refunded or returned for credit under the satisfaction offer, permission to use that purchased copy ends. Please stop using it and delete your downloaded and printed copies, except where applicable law provides otherwise. You do not need to send proof that you deleted a file.
Your consumer rights
The voluntary store-credit offer is additional to your legal rights. Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or replaces cancellation rights, guarantees or remedies that apply under consumer law. Where the law entitles you to a monetary refund, we will not limit that remedy to store credit.
